About John
My name is John Magdy, and I’m a natural competitor and the first Egyptian WNBF Men’s Physique Pro. I also work as an online coach for nutrition and training.
My journey started in 2020 with my first championship on Ahmed Ali’s stage, where I secured 6th place despite competing against nearly 100 athletes. In 2021, I competed in Mr. Olympia and again placed 6th. Then, in 2022, I won 1st place at WNBF in the UAE, becoming the first Egyptian to win the WNBF Men’s Physique title. I also secured 3rd place in the Pro Show that year.
In 2023, I placed 3rd in the WNBF Pro Show, and in 2024, I won 1st place in the WNBF Pro Show and took 2nd place overall.
Throughout my journey, I’ve been a source of inspiration for many who want to achieve greatness naturally, proving that success comes through effort, dedication, and patience—without relying on hormones.
To me, health is the foundation of everything. It’s the key to building a strong lifestyle and protecting yourself from various diseases.

What got you into fitness
I got into fitness after an accident when the doctor told me that if I had been a skinny person, my arm would have been disabled. At that moment, I felt it was a sign from God. That realization strengthened my determination to continue, as I knew the gym had to be an essential part of my life. And that’s where my journey began.
What’s Your Source of Inspiration
My inspiration comes from within to become a better version of myself. I always ask myself: Where was I yesterday, and where will I be tomorrow?
